01 / Cataract care

When your vision
begins to change.

A cataract clouds the eye’s natural lens and can make everyday vision more difficult. An assessment helps you discuss how it affects your life and whether surgery may be appropriate.

Cataract surgery replaces the cloudy lens with an artificial lens. The decision should include a discussion of lens choices, benefits, possible complications and recovery. Outcomes and recovery vary between people.

02 / Glaucoma care

A specialist view.
A longer-term plan.

Glaucoma damages the optic nerve and may develop without obvious early symptoms. Assessment and monitoring help guide treatment intended to protect remaining vision.

Depending on your condition, options may include prescribed drops, laser treatment or surgery. Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery is suitable for some people; the doctor will discuss whether a particular approach is appropriate for you.

Dr. Koumpi’s background includes an advanced glaucoma fellowship and former NHS lead consultant appointments in cataract and glaucoma.

03 / Comprehensive eye health

A careful look
at the whole picture.
